<\/p>\nCatherine (who prefers to be called Cath), has recently become another of our success stories, securing accessible SDA tailored to meet her needs in record time.<\/p>\n
Led by Rebecca our Customer Engagement Manager, the IHA team had the pleasure of working with Cath, her Support Coordinator and her brother, Nick to secure a new home for Cath. When working with Cath and Nick, the IHA team was able to set some very clear goals on what they wanted to achieve. <\/p>\n
– The ability to bring her beloved pet budgies
\n– Staying connected with her church group
\n– Continuing to use her Community Participation supports
\n– Being in her new home prior to her birthday, which was just five weeks away.<\/p>\n
Our team carefully worked through the inspection and application process with Cath and Nick, keeping her supports included all the way. We were delighted to be able to offer a welcoming home that met all of Cath’s goals, including the short time frame! Cath secured an SDA property suited to her needs within her desired suburb and was able to commence her transition plan.<\/p>\n
Since her move, Cath has reported that she loves the new space, especially the bathroom as she feels it is exciting to have a huge bathroom. Cath said, it’s like having my own spa space and I can move around easily”.<\/p>\n
Cath’s brother, Nick was also very happy with the process, reporting that he is “very satisfied with the move and how the IHA team supported them through the move process and the complexities of the first few days”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
